And now, we apply this device to develop a new upper limb exoskeleton.

Wearable Upper Limb Assistive Device
(FEA2:Flexion - Extension - Assistance arm 2)
FEA2 is developed for reducing burdens of caregiver like hard labor, holding a care-receiver, and so on. FEA2 can assist 30% of the power to user with 70kg of the load.
We are doing a lot of research and development for commercialization of the device.

At the experiment of carrying tank of 8kg, we researched the percentage of assistance of FEA2. At the result, the data shows a 40percent decrease in both arms’ EMG comparing with the assistance of FEA2 and without the assistance of FEA2. So the effectiveness of FEA2 has been checked.
