Research outline
We are developing life support robot and system by integrate electronics, mechanical engineering, and bionics.
In recent years, we are mainly studying at moving support system, power assistive device, Brain-Machine Interface. Also, we had studied at biped robot, pipe inspection robot, pipe maintenance robot, dynamic manipulator, mechatronic system, automaton, machine mechanism, electronic control system, and image processing.
The field of robot and mechatronics is so wide. It needs a wealth of knowledge of mechanical engineering, electronics, informatics, control engineering, and also basics of bionics is needed. In our lab, we are using these basic theories as tools to apply on our studies. We regard simulation, theoretical analysis and verification experiment as tools, and expanding into a new theory is more important.
